Livelihood Support for Persons with Disabilities in Bac Lieu
Friday, August 9, 2024
Bac Lieu, 02 - 03 July 2024, VNAH provided small grants to support the livelihood activities of persons with disabilities in Bac Lieu province. 50 persons, each received a grant worth from US $200 to US $1,000, to support their self-employment, to start up small-scale businesses such as running a food shop, grocery store, production of handicrafts, or farming and vending lottery tickets.
The support was part of the USAID-funded DIRECT project being implemented by VNAH in collaboration with the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) and disability-related organizations DRD and Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin

I saw how VNAH equips rehabilitation centers and trains health workers across Vietnam, and it made me think of the paperwork mountain most IDD agencies still climb.
For context, I partner with agencies that are buried in case notes, billing sheets, and compliance logs written out by hand or in Excel. Staff often log more keystrokes than face time with the people they serve.
We built a platform that lifts that load, automating documentation, billing, and reporting in one place. Agencies using it have cut paperwork time by 70%, captured missed revenue, and turned day long compliance tasks into a single morning.
Many groups already run some software, yet I would still like to show you how peers are stepping away from paper and spreadsheets.
Could you point me to whoever handles your program operations or data systems? I would be grateful for the introduction.
All the best,
